About Us

The Mister and I actually went to the same high school in Sand Springs, OK...but never really knew each other.  My dearest friend, Gina introduced us in our early 20's and the rest is history.  We were married in July 2004, honeymooned in St. Lucia, and in December of that year moved to San Diego.  Yogi was accepted to an MBA program there, and we spent the next wonderful year in San Diego.

We were a little homesick, so Yogi took a job in Enid, OK were we found out we would soon have a baby. Miss Gianna Nouvel was born in May of 2007.  Again, horribly homesick, we packed up and moved back to Sand Springs when the little miss was a few weeks old.  We spent the next several years there, including the June 2009 birth of Evie Jane.  An opportunity came for us to move to Odessa/Midland, Texas.  We weren't so thrilled about the location, but it would offer the opportunity for me to stay home with the kiddos. Nine months later we got a call for Yogi to take a similar position in Corpus Christi, Texas...and we jumped on it.  Some love the mountains or the desert...I'm at one with the water....even though I rarely get in it.

Little Facts About Us.....

  • We LOVE New York....the Yankees, the city, everything!
  • If I could spend money on one thing (other than my babes) it would be traveling.
  • Yogi live for sports.  He knows more facts than anyone I know.
  • I played golf in high school.  Yogi cheered for TU (Tulsa) in college.
  • Gianna wears glasses.  She's legally blind in her right eye.
  • I have a fear of the ocean, I love being near it, I just don't get in.
  • I'm very cautious as is Gianna.  Evie is like her daddy, they'll jump off anything.
  • I'm German, Scottish, Irish, Italian and Dutch.  Yogi is Scottish, English, French and Cherokee.  ( I did Ancestory.com)
  • I hate when people don't use turn signals.
  • Every number in our life is an even number...my birthday 18...Yogi's 22...we were married on 24...Gianna born on the 2nd.  To the point when I picked Evie's birthday (I had a scheduled c-section) it had to be an even number...4.
  • If I could go back in time and be anything I'd go to medical school and either be a medical examiner or neurologist.
